I think most good fathers feel you brother. I’m definitely in the same boat. My son is 3 and I’m trying to soak in and enjoy every moment of it.
It’s definitely bitter‑sweet watching them grow up, but it’s one of the best parts about being a dad.
One day, lord willing, they’ll be able to do that with their kids, and I think it’s important to remember that we’re raising someone else’s dad. Sounds like they have a great father, and they will always remember their childhood and try to do the same with their kids.
