MaxDelJNeillJack98 Hey fellow dads! I'm looking for covers or any method to stop my kids from tampering with the sump‑pump cords. The covers I've seen so far have flexible cords that drop down, which won’t work ofr me. Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated. I have to keep the kids in that room for a few weeks; otherwise I’d just keep them out. Picture included for reference.
MetallicMuttMaster You can grab something like this. It’s meant for outdoor use, but it completely covers the outlet and even locks. This one was at Home Depot, but you should be able to find them at pretty much any home‑improvement store.
ThickJuicyCapitan I bought this cover off of Amazon. It mounts straight to the existing outlet. My son kept going and unplugging my main plug to my saltwater fish tank. Ever since I put this up he's left it alone.

KevTheRev When I think about those outlet boxes that are meant for outdoors… I realize you can simply add a tiny lock to keep them safe.
