We need to be more present as a family. Our phones are the problem. I’ve been making changes—engaging with our kid, planning activities like pool and library trips. But when I invite my wife to join, she say she don’t have the energy or interest. Yet I see her on her phone, gaming, not making an effort to disconnect. It’s time to step up. Let’s make this change—together, for our family.

Why not try setting up a little spot near where you keep your shoes and coats? It could be a small box or basket where everyone drops their phone as soon as they walk in the door. That way, if it rings, you'll still hear it, but it'll stay put during family time after work. It’s a sweet way to keep things cozy and connected at home! 🏠📱

Nowadays, I've learned to put my phone away when she's talking to me. She'll even glance at it if I'm not giving her my full attention. It's a small reminder to be present in these precious moments.
