I wish there was an app where grown men (dads) can find other dads to meet and hang out with. I'm in my 30s and been off drugs for like 6 years now, so all the ppl I called my friends or dealt with aren't in my life anymore. I literally work and come home to kids and wife. Need a buddy I can't shoot guns with and watch football with. I'm in ft!worth texas. Where's everyone from?

I made a friend at my shop the other day after five rounds of nonsense. He said he didn’t know how to ask for my number without making me think he was gay, and I hoped it would work itself out I thought the same. It’s funny how hard it is to make adult friends.

Three years sober, still with the same man. I work 14 days, then have 7 days off. I get up at 4 a.m. and return home at 8 p.m. The people I used to hang out with no longer invite me to anything. I spend most of my time sleeping and working. It sometimes feels depressing.

Same here. My partner told me last night that I have no friends and that only she and our children are in my life, and she was genuinely upset. I responded that I work, run a crew all day, provide whatever they need, and strive to be a super dad each day. I have little time for friends; it would be nice, but at 37 I am unsure how to make it happen.
