As a fellow member with a med card, I’ve run into the same issue in construction. Anything federal can become a huge problem if you get caught legal consequences can include jail time, fines, and being barred from future federal jobs. Any mistake you make that results in an accident will require drug testing, and you’re always subject to random tests; if you fail for any reason, the same penalties apply. If you think you can stay on top of things and want to go through with it, you could bring in clean pee if you’re discreet, or use kits to flush your system and avoid smoking before the test, but with your epilepsy I wouldn’t fully recommend that. No job is worth putting your health on the line when you have kids to look out for. It’s bullshit, ubt I’d recommend looking for something that accommodates your condition.
