Books can give you ideas of things to try, but don’t try to be someone you’re not. I “wasted” 18 months of my life tryin g to fix a broken (17‑year / 3‑kids) relationship, and it ended up feeling like nothing. Just do your best to be the best version of yourself that’s all you can do. If your best isn’t enough, have the respect for both of you and end it. And don’t rush into anything new take some time for yourself, pick up new hobbies, and just try to find happiness just being you. What’s meant to be will be 👍

Don’t overdo it in marriage

1) Do your part and your partner will do hers if she also wants the marriage to work.
2) Focus on the reasons you wanted to get married, not just the person you chose.
3) Love, but don’t get overly attached to a mortal person time and circumstances can pull people apart unexpectedly.
4) Never stop investing in yourself and then try to pour all your effort into others?👉🏿 serve others with the love that overflows from your cup, not from an empty one.
5) It’s okay to love from a distance for a while to regain your sanity and see things clearly 👉🏿 don’t stress if you need space 🤘🏿

I know a lot of people will get mad at this comment, but I have to say couple counseling is great and helps a lot. I know so many people who’ve been where you are, and it gives them the perspective they need to keep going or close up shop. At the end of the day, if both spouses want to work it out together, nothing is impossible.
