This is clearly a manipulation tactic, trying to make you act out of character so she can play the victim.
She’s blaming you for how you respond to obvious mind games.
The reasons are endless, and you could go crazy trying to pin them down. Honestly, the logic isn’t clear, and you don’t need to understand it to address it.
Know that she already has an end goal that justifies treating you this way, so keep moving forward.
If you’re still in love with her, consider marriage counseling and approach it with an open heart. At the same time, plan for a scenario that doesn’t include her, since she may try to paint you as the “angry” aggressor who is “out of control” when you finally answer the blatant disrespect.
Stop arguing. You can’t reason with the unreasonable. State your position: “I disagree.” “No.” “I won’t be doing that.” Hold to those statements. Don’t let yourself be manipulated. You’re a credible witness; anyone who says otherwise is not being truthful.
Consider installing cameras at home; in my,experience, things can escalate when you don’t take the bait.
You may need evidence to support your side with the law. Family members are often manipulated to back one side, sometimes long before you realize it.
Stay aware of the situation and your surroundings. Treat these interactions as if you’re reasoning with someone who may be unstable. You might be.
