Can I claim damages from a roadwork company for no warning signs?

Not sure how to handle this, and I can’t afford the fix. There was roadwork in my town, but the road was a mess with zero warnings, so I busted a control arm even at 25‑30 mph. Can I claim against the company to get my ride fixed ‘cause they didn’t put up any warning signs? 🚗🔧

You can sue anyone for anything, but without dash‑cam footage or some solid proof, it’s gonna be a long, uphill battle. You could try filing a claim with your insurance, but that’ll still take a while.

I feel compelled to tell you to grab your camera right away the more proof you collect, the stronger your case will be. Then, I’d suggest filing a claim with the road’s owner, whether that’s the town or the state, and I can’t help but hope you aren’t in Massachusetts, where road‑hazard claims seem to disappear.
