Why doesn't my partner show appreciation for all I provide?

Is anyone else on here tired of supporting their women and dont feel appreciated what so ever?

My love language is words of affirmation.

I pay for the house, utilities, everything for the kids, give her $500/month, pay for the car, her insurance, her phone, food, etc.

These women.dont know how to say I appreciate you!

When ask why she doesnt ever tell me that she appreciates me—her response is I am not going to kiss your feet and bow down to you.

Sounds like what you’re describing is basically just being a paycheck. There’s way more to being a good husband and dad than just covering the bills, you know? This whole thing really ticks me off. I’m guessing she’s not just sitting around at home, so maybe we’re not getting the whole picture. If the deal is that you work and bring in the money while she handles other stuff, then you don’t really earn constant applause you’re just doing what you agreed to, the bare minimum, and honestly, that’s.not something to brag about.

Totally get you, bro. I'm sure you're a solid dad and you think you're doing the right thing as a husband maybe you are, maybe not. There are way too many tired‑mom videos online that make it seem like only moms get exhausted, and if you binge them you might start believing that. While there might be something bugging her or something you're not doing, that's not the point here. All you want is a genuine thank‑you and to feel appreciated. We do what we can as tired dads. And when we’re off work, before we head out again we still find that second wind for our partner and kids. You’re not alone. Good to see I’m not alone. Keep pushing through. Begin cutting off her $500 allowance and say, “Sorry, there isn’t enough money and something has to give,” even if it isn’t true. A simple thank you for everything is greatly appreciated and goes a long way.
