I used to change oil until I discovered my wife’s car has a skid plate with 17 screws in three different head types, and that’s when I hung up my oil‑changing hat.

I can do it, but it's worth paying to have it done. I just go to drive‑through places; they finish in 15 minutes, and I get a free bottle of water.

Yep. I own my own now‑closed shop. I take care of my family, and some of the widows and elderly on the street. But I’m a Pennzoil guy. When I took my motor apart at 300,000 miles there was no sludge, and I could still see the cross‑hatching on the cylinders. It looked really well.
